Apparently I have to have 'mature content' on this if I want to submit it to this gallery, but, let's be honest, you can't see anything, and anyone who is mentally traumatized from seeing a photo of someone's hips should probably stay away from the internet in general.
I wanted to do this piece because I am sick and tired of submitting a self portrait (or indeed, a picture of any woman) and getting loads of sleazy comments from people on here. I have actually posted images of my shoes and received some rather fetishist notes from people.
I know this probably won't mean anything to any of them, and they'll probably just leave me some perverted message, but I swear I will report the next man who does. I shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable for modeling (in, might I add, incredibly normal and non-sexual ways) in my own photographs.
